WebJul 13, 2024 · So I have a Marlin Model 60. It seems finicky on ammo; it likes CCI, doesn't like the cheaper ammo (like Browning bulk, Wolf, or Eley target). If I shot nothing but CCI, I would be (from memory) 100% awesome, no issues ever. My SW22 Victory pistol seems way more easygoing. I can put whatever in there and it fires. The person saying they don't have a "bolt lock" or whatever is wrong. I've purchased some that were so cruded up, the bolt wouldn't lock back. As far as the unintended discharge, one thing I can think of is that the firing pin stayed forward due to crud.
