I don't know if it was pressed or glued together. When you sawed it in a verticle band saw you had to be carefull or the thin shims pelled off. He also has a ductle iron crank available, counter weighted "C" style. Pretty strong, someone tore the center main web from the block and the crank bent 1/8" but did not break.
