There are slight differences, but it really comes down to which you prefer. This is correct. I'd just like to add that you should use the best weapon (s) you have. WebCompared a larger benefit from a 2h with a lot of str or agi. So the damage taken aspect is similar enough that could just be chocked up to sims or slightly different itemization on both weapons. It's the DPS/TPS loss and self healing loss that is the real problem to me.

The true benefit of DW, aside from it APPEARING to be very slightly better, is its simplicity. Need maximum ST damage? HB and FS. Need burst AOE damage? HB and FS. Need sustained cleave damage? HB and FS.

WebOct 9, 2013 · You're damage is a generally higher as DW all together if you sit in frost presence (compard to 2h in frost presence), but DW loses a lot more damage in blood presence than 2h which is what makes 2h better for arena (because 2h deals a lot more damage than DW in blood presence).

Frost is primarily a DPS specialization with a large emphasis on procs and a constantly changing order of priorities that will keep you on your toes if you want to maximize your DPS.
Web2h frost if you wanna see big dick obliterates DW if you wanna see more consistent damage I think the biggest difference is that with 2h, you're basically required to take the obliterate talent in the last row, whereas with DW you have 3 options.
