WebChip-on-Flex refers to the semiconductor assembly technology wherein the microchip or die is directly mounted on and electrically connected to a flexible circuit (a circuit built on a flexible substrate instead of the usual printed circuit board ). WebChip on Flex (COF) is a technology that enables the semiconductor chips to be mounted directly on a printed circuit board or flex PCB. In COF technology, the chip is soldered onto a flexible film that can be easily integrated into different types of electronic devices.
